291/365 Oct 18, 2023. #kikimack365 Despite the rain, I took advantage of a £10 return train fare to London and visited Leighton House, the former home of the artist Frederic Leighton, for free with my Art Pass. I’d never heard of the house until it popped up on my Instagram feed, but the Moorish inspired hallway sold me on a visit. The whole house was wonderful and so eclectic, with many different artworks of both Leighton and others on display. I had a great time looking at all the details. I had a bit of a mooch in a couple of shops before heading back to Liverpool Street to meet Mr Mack for an early dinner. The rain was fairly bad but luckily the trains were running on time.
